Discount Announced as part of Fall Membership Drive
St. Lawrence County – Responding to trends in St. Lawrence County, the St. Lawrence County Chamber has added a new membership level for Non-profit organizations with ten or less employees. The $80 annual fee, a $50 reduction from the lowest existing member level opens the benefits up to organizations with few or no employees and tiny budgets. ‘There are a lot of small non-profits in the County doing great work for our economy and livelihood. We hope this makes it affordable for them to access networking and marketing opportunities’ stated Brooke Rouse, Executive Director. The first non-profit to take advantage of the new membership level is the Local Living Venture. Chelle Lindahl, LLV Chair noted that “It’s important for our organization to have a seat at the table and we support this dynamic organization. Membership fees have been outside of our small budget, but this allows us to become members, take advantage of all of the valuable benefits and network with others doing good in the community”.
The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is a 450 member business network across the County, extending into neighboring Counties. The fall membership drive is underway, with two months of free membership offered at sign up. For more information or to join, visit www.slcchamber.org or call 315-386-4000.
