SLC COUNTY – Branding research is a priority for the 2017 Tourism Marketing Strategy for St. Lawrence County, executed by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce as the Tourism Promotion Agent. A brief twelve question online survey currently circulating seeks to understand how residents and visitors feel about the County, as well as polling the association people have with the County and the regional brands of Adirondack, Seaway and St. Lawrence River.
The survey can be found directly at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RMBYLMJ or via www.SLCchamber.org. Three focus group sessions will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd in Potsdam, Ogdensburg and Massena to discuss some of the survey results and have deeper conversations about the identity of the County as a visitor destination. The survey allows for people to register to attend a focus group session.
“Our hope is to cast a wide net and capture the thoughts and values placed on different aspects of our County that we can embrace in a destination brand to attract people to this place’ noted Brooke Rouse, SLC Chamber Executive Director. Trampoline Advertising and Design, from Glens Falls NY was contracted to assist with the research and brand development, as well as a digital marketing campaign for County Tourism.
