OGDENSBURG, NY – The Frederic Remington Art Museum announces the 2016 NYS Juried Art Exhibit.
Juror Kari Zelson Robertson selected 45 artworks by 27 New York State artists. Many are returning participants, while others are exhibiting at the museum for the first time. Congratulations to all. The exhibition will be on view in the museum’s Richard E. Winter Gallery & Torrey Family Gallery Saturday, September 17 – January 15, 2017. Meet the artists at the opening reception Saturday, September 17, 2 – 4 pm. Perhaps because our juror is a ceramicist, the museum received a higher than usual proportion of 3 dimensional art, and the exhibit has very interesting sculptures.
