Old Forge, New York – View, the multi-arts center in Old Forge, will be hosting its Garden Ceramic Class August 6, 7, 8, and 15 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Instructors Bette Rintrona and Wendy Seifried will be teaching participants how to make unique accent pieces for flower and vegetable gardens.

Such pieces may include garden stakes, totems, mushrooms, toad houses, fairy houses, wall pouches, and gnomes. The first three classes will have participants making their pieces and the following week’s class will be devoted to glazing.

All skill levels are welcomed. Cost to attend all four classes is $125 for guests and $100 for View members. Additional materials and firing fees can be paid through tickets available for purchase at View. Class size is limited to ten students.
