LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – The Pines Inn Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series presented by Adirondack “By Owner” has announced the fifth performance in the seven week series, scheduled for Tuesday, July 24th, 2018, as Local Reggae Night with JT Cubbenah and Brethrens. The Pines Inn Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series presented by Adirondack “By Owner” is held at 7:00PM on seven Tuesdays throughout the summer at Mid’s Park on Main Street, Lake Placid.

These weekly performances, running from June 26 through August 7, feature local, regional and national acts in the scenic and historic setting of Mid’s Park on Main Street, Lake Placid, New York. The series features local and regional emerging artists in a variety of musical genres and provides valuable exposure to these up and coming acts. The music series is also an opportunity to introduce residents and visitors to a diverse range of musical genres in a scenic and relaxing setting.

In its thirteenth year, The Pines Inn Songs at Mirror Lake Music Series presented by Adirondack “By Owner” is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is comprised of a volunteer committee with all expenses covered by sponsorship and donations.

Singer, songwriter, musician, was born and raised in the Island of Jamaica. In the early nineties, a former member of the reggae band LUS. (Love, Unity and Strength). JT toured Northern NY and the Eastern Seaboard playing in Clubs, Colleges, Universities, Festivals, Prisons and numerous other events.

JT Cubbenah shared the stage with artist such as: Black Uhuru, King Yellowman, JC Lodge, Sophia George, The Toasters and Big Joe Burrell, just to name a few.
After over 20 years of a long absence from the music, JT is ready again to relaunch his musical career.

Currently working on his album, JT Cubbenah is looking forward to an early release in the summer of 2019. JT Cubbenah’s message to the World is Peace, Love and Togetherness.
