Hubbard Hall Center for the Arts and Education announces the opening of a new Healing Arts Studio on its campus in Cambridge, NY, in its Freight Depot Theater building, a new radiant and relaxing studio where participants gather to do yoga, meditate, exercise and center themselves. People of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities are welcome and encouraged to join the studio.
Filled with warm, radiant lighting and ample room, the studio is a newly dedicated space for movement and the healing arts on the Hubbard Hall campus, a site in Cambridge, NY containing four historic buildings, including the Freight Depot Theater.
“The space is magical!” Jean Mayer remarked blissfully upon seeing the renewed area for the first time.
Elizabeth Dunn, one of Hubbard Hall’s yoga instructors, says “We are a growing family and The Healing Arts Studio is a beautiful space to welcome in all who are looking for or craving a way of connecting in an uplifting and affirming way. What a gift it is to have The Healing Arts Studio as a cozy, welcoming and sacred space to spend time in.”
“We want to thank the entire community for its commitment and understanding as we continue to grow our programs. We’re working hard to find new and better ways to serve our wonderful community. We could not do anything of this without them,” says Program Associate Colleen Viera. “The transformation of this space is inspiring to me. I cannot wait to see what more we may be able to offer in the future.”
Now that Yoga, Essentrics, and Meditation have found a new home in The Healing Arts studio, Hubbard Hall is poised to grow its programming further, with expanded classes in movement, dance, music, the visual arts and theater. Interested instructors in the healing arts – and all arts – should contact Program Associate Colleen Viera at [email protected] or 518-677-2495, ext. 304. More information on current classes is available at hubbardhall.org.
