We are currently searching for the following positions to join our Pendragon team:

The Managing Director will be responsible for day-to-day management of Pendragon Theatre including fiscal accounting, fundraising, grant writing, human resource management, and community outreach. The Managing Director will support and oversee the work of the staff, permanent and temporary, to ensure the implementation of the artistic direction in a fiscally responsible manner, and to increase the presence and visibility of the theatre in the community. The Technical Director is responsible for:
1) collaborating with designers to build sets, implement lighting and sound designs for all five summer shows in a modified repertory season,
2) orchestrating load in and load out of sets,
3) supervising technical interns, communicating with stage management and other production related departments.
4) attending all tech rehearsals and oversee and coordinate all technical aspects of tours of summer shows.
Prior summer theatre experience preferred. Current drivers license and vehicle required.

Our internships offer valuable experiences in many aspects of running a professional regional theatre including theatre management, box office management, stagecraft (lighting, sound, set, costumes, props), stage management and marketing.
Interns, while having a principal assignment in a specific department, will be expected to contribute to ALL aspects of running a theatre as an integral part of the Pendragon Theatre Ensemble.

Pendragon offers a summer internship for a local high school student with a strong interest in theatre. The “Intern-In-Training” receives a scholarship to Camp Pendragon and has the opportunity to work backstage on each show of the summer season. The intern works with and learns from professional actors, directors, and stage managers. He or she experiences what it takes to create a show from page to stage and be part of a professional theatre company.
