Clinton, NY — Curling lessons, a private harp recital, a private tour of Saranac brewery with Fred Matt, a Valentine-gram with roses, and a master class in mixology are among the many ‘extraordinary experiences’ up for silent auction at the annual “We heART KACelebration!” on Saturday, February 9 at the Kirkland Art Center in Clinton.
The fundraising party will take place in the KAC Gallery, which will be transformed for a Roaring Twenties party with live music, fine food, and lots of fun.
Dylan Van Savage will kick off the evening with piano licks and riffs, and the popular local band Jerry Dee and The Dovetones will round out the night with their hot jazz and hits through the decades. Surprise guests will also provide songs and dance to suit the Roaring Twenties party theme.
“We hope everyone will come to have a great night out in the middle of our long cold winter and also to help keep our community arts center thriving,” said Damhnait McHugh, a KAC Board member on the party committee. “People can dress for the Roaring Twenties or come as they are – we will all have a good time.”
Party goers will enjoy hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants and complimentary drinks from Clinton Wine & Spirits and Saranac Brewing.
“This is not your run-of-the-mill gala night,” said KAC Board Treasurer Mark Landrey. “It will be a great party that will lift your spirits, and the silent auction items will really capture your imagination.”
