Blue Mountain Lake, NY: It’s time to trade in your snowshoes and skis for your party shoes – at least for one evening! The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts (the Arts Center) is once again hosting a special event which is sure to chase winter blues away. Please join the Arts Center’s Board of Directors and staff for the Winter Benefit for the Arts on Saturday, March 9, 2019, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Long View Lodge in Long Lake, NY.

The event is a family friendly fundraiser complete with live and silent auctions, scrumptious appetizers and a gourmet buffet dinner. Event Chairpersons Frances Armstrong and Todd Friebel have a great program planned, which includes celebrating the Arts Center’s 52nd year. Chairperson Armstrong stated, “This event is perfectly timed to give everyone in the North Country a chance to reconnect with friends they haven’t seen in a while due to the winter weather. Everyone always enjoys a great night out while raising money for our favorite community arts center.”

Tickets to the Benefit range from $100 Benefactor; $85 Patron; $60 Non-member; and $50 for Arts Center members and can be purchased online at www.adirondackarts.org, or by contacting the Arts Center. Overnight accommodations are available by contacting the Arts Center at [email protected] or 518-352-7715.
