TAUNY is pleased to announce that Chris Covert, Jr., Saranac Lake, has joined the TAUNY Board of Directors, after serving for 5 years on TAUNY’s Advisory Board. Chris is the broker, owner, and founder of Guide Boat Realty, LLC, which he opened in 2000 after working full time in the field for 15 years. During two terms as president of the Northern Adirondack Board of Realtors, Chris was instrumental in expanding the board’s territory substantially and oversaw the Board’s first implementation of a computerized multiple listing system.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chris to TAUNY’s Board of Directors,” says TAUNY Board President Jackie Sauter, “In addition to enthusiasm for TAUNY’s mission, he brings extensive experience in non-profit governance and a deep commitment to community service.” TAUNY’s Executive Director Jill Breit adds, “Chris is well-known and well-respected in his hometown of Saranac Lake and beyond for the many ways he contributes to improving the quality of life for residents. We’ve loved working with Chris on projects over the years and are looking forward to working more closely with him now.”
