Pepper and Sassafras, the acoustic duo of Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers and Wendy Ramsay, is coming back to Park Coffee House in Holland Patent on Saturday, March 2. The doors open at 7:00 PM for the 7:30 PM show. Admission is $12.00, $5.00 for students, and no charge for children 12 and younger.
Pepper and Sassafras entertains in a warm and engaging style. They have been gaining recognition for their performances, winning the New Voices category at the Turtle Hill Folk Festival, to becoming finalists for Best Duo award at FreshGrass.
Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers is an award winning singer-songwriter. He combines his passion for words and music into a career as musician, author, and teacher. Rodgers is a grand prize winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and received a SAMMY (Syracuse area music award) for his CD “Almost There.” He is a founding editor of Acoustic Guitar magazine and has published several books, including Rock Troubadours, which featured his interviews with artists such as Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, and Jerry Garcia. Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers describes his work as “music with passion and creativity and a real point of view.” Paul Simon, The Grateful Dead, Stevie Wonder, and Tom Waits are claimed as the four corners of his sense of music for their sounds, styles, and creative spirit.
Wendy Ramsay brings extraordinary vocal harmonies . A multiple instrumentalist, she adds flute, clarinet, guitar, and her quirky originals to the mix. Wendy is also a songwriter and has performed with the Unstoppables and the Hysterical Fits.

Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers and Wendy Ramsay are sure to deliver a performance combining great acoustic musicianship, outstanding original songs, and rich harmonies.
You’ll find Park Coffee House at the historic Twin Churches in the village of Holland Patent, just off Main Street(NYS Route 365), across from the park.
At Park Coffee House events, refreshments are available before the show and during the intermission. PCH volunteers prepare and serve the homemade desserts, coffee, tea, cocoa, and cider. A donation is requested. The proceeds benefit the local food pantry.
On April 13, the Park Coffee House will welcome the return of Dan Berggren, Peggy Lynn, and Dan Duggan as the trio Jamcrackers. Wildflower performs on May 18, and the current season closes on June 8 with a Local Favorites Fundraiser. Please note that the March 16 Rattlin’ Bog concert has been canceled.
